On August 19, 2013, FoxNews.com, reported NJ Gov. Christie signs ban on controversial gay conversion therapy. That bill that the governor signed “bars licensed therapists from trying to turn gay teenagers straight, though the Republican said in a statement he did so ‘reluctantly.’”
Why he did so “reluctantly” was initially puzzlement to me.
The reason I say that is because he gave several excellent reasons for banning gay conversion therapy,

As I mentioned earlier, there wasn’t room in the last blog to fully answer the question I set out to answer then, which was: “How are we going to begin to protect our lives, forests and homes from fires set by terrorism?” I hope to share with you what I believe will be necessary to begin to address the problem.

Published on Monday, August 12, 2013, and updated Tuesday, August 13, 2013, reporters Rocco Parascandola, Jennifer Fermino and Dareh Gregorian, reporters for the New York Daily News, wrote a website article for the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS, that caused a federal judge, Shira Schneider Scheindlin to claim the NYPD’s use of stop-and-frisk as unconstitutional on Monday and appointed a federal monitor to oversee the program – a move Mayor Bloomberg warned could have deadly consequences.
